AGQTP

The Australian Government Quality Teaching Programme consists of:

• State and Territory professional development projects and
  
• Strategic national projects into teacher quality issues.

The Australian Government Quality Teacher Program (AGQTP) has provided commonwealth funding to all states and territories to strengthen the skills and understanding of the teaching profession. The priority area for the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn for 2006 - 2009 is pedagogy and the key projects will be IDEAS and Quality Teaching.
